When Sanlorenzo launches a new series, the industry pays attention. But when it takes a bold step toward technological revolution, the entire yachting world turns its eyes to one place. That place is Almax, the 165-foot pioneer of the 50Steel series that is redefining the very concept of luxury at sea.

Green power on board
Almax is not “just another superyacht” – it’s a real testbed for technology that could set the course for the entire industry. At the heart of the innovation lies a fuel-cell system powered by green methanol, which transforms the fuel into hydrogen and then generates 100 kW of clean energy. This is enough to cover all of the yacht’s needs while at anchor or docked – zero emissions, zero compromises.
Hidden engines, revealed space
Almax is not only about “green” solutions. Its designers turned the traditional approach to interior layout completely upside down. Thanks to the Hidden Engine Room (HER) concept, the yacht gained a brand-new dimension. The engines were moved to the lower deck, freeing up space for the impressive Ocean Lounge – a leisure area that seamlessly connects the aft beach club with the forward guest quarters.
The result? An interior that blends the feel of a private spa with the functionality of a world-class yacht, offering guests more light, views, and... breathing space.
Technology that changes the game
There’s no denying it – Almax is a milestone. The use of methanol fuel cells on this scale is something we’ve never seen before. It’s not only an ecological statement, but also solid proof that luxury and sustainability can sail in the same direction.
Almax is more than just the yacht of the month. It’s a glimpse into the future of superyachts – where technology, design, and environmental consciousness create a harmonious whole.
