In 2026 Polish Registration Authorities plan to introduce legal solutions that will be unfavorable for foreigners intending to register a vessel under the Polish flag. The new law will also create difficulties for foreigners who have already registered their boats under the Polish flag.
The planned legal key changes include:
- it is mandatory to conduct a preliminary technical inspection of the vessel before obtaining a Polish registration document;
- it mandatory to confirm periodically the validity of the data contained in the vessel's registration certificate.

In light of the above, at this stage we are unable to recommend registering a vessel under the Polish flag for foreign nationals. Until the new legal framework is fully clarified, all registrations processed through our services are suspended until further notice.
